Object of study: improving methods of rehabilitation of disabled children with somatic pathology and children with limited physical and mental abilities. Method of study: common clinical electrophysiological, roentgenological, biochemical, instrumental, immunofermentative, epidemiologic, clinico-psychological and experimentally-psychological. Theoretical and practical results: causes and factors of disability development in children with chronic somatic pathology have been determined, and conception of the rehabilitation of disabled children with mental ability limitations has been worked out. The necessity of organizing rehabilitation centers for disabled children and centers of early intervention for preventing disability formation has been grounded. There has been prepared a List of 103 professions for educ ational training and further placing in a job disabled children and children with oligophrenia/Novelty: There have been developed an integrated model of diagnosisng disorders in somatic and physical health, and the conception of medico-social rehabilitation of disabled children with chronic somatic pathology and limited physical and mental abilities. Effectiveness of proposal: a decrease in the incidence of social deficiency development in patients with chronic somatic pathology and limitations in psychic potential.
