In accirdance with regular documents of Ukraine Ministry of education and science as to working out state educational standards — formation of educational characteristics, educational professional programmes and means of control and diagnostics of educational-professional level of training specialists. The aim of research — working out of components of state standards of education according to the following scheme: professional function — typical problems of activities — skills which provide for accomplishment of previous Tasks — content modules for acquiring skills — content and curricula for definite subjects. The list of professional functions and typical activity problems as a component of state education standard for physics specialists of Universities is proposed. It is based on stages of professional research activity of an individual. Th e general standard of education quality undergoes transformation into particular educational standards of concrete subjects, when the process of definition between the whole complex of skills and content modules takes place. The complex of skills provides for resolving problems of definite types of activities and a content module defines the content of the subject curriculum. Such a particular standard for the course of general physics for physics specialties of Universities is worked out in the given report. Informational part of general physics curriculum is in accordance with complex of skills, which are subdivided into two levels: general functional and subject visual. The former is aimed at fulfilling professional functions, the latter — at resolving some typical problems of professional activity.
