Karazin popup.description2 Objects of investigations — luminescent dyes with increased fluorescence Stokes shift, potentially suitable for usage in the lase technique and as fluorescent probes and markers for investigation of biological systems. The main aim of the project — to synthesise on the basis of five membered heterocyclic compounds, derivatives of oxazole and 1,3,4-oxadiazole, series of new luminescent dyes with the increased fluorescence Stokes shift (including compounds of ionic origin). Systematic series of the ortho-hydroxy derivatives of 2,5-dyphenil-1,3,4-oxadiazole with substituents of various electronic nature, sterically hindered derivatives of oxazole, 1,3,4-oxadiazole and N-quaternary salts of several aromatic derivatives of oxazole. Spectral properties of synthesised compounds were investigated in solvents of various polarity, computer simulations were made. Interaction of several derivatives of oxazole, oxadiazole and dibenzalacetone with natural (erythrocite shades) and model (liposomes) cell membranes wer e studied.
