Karazin popup.description2 Subject of inquiry: atomic nuclei and nuclear interactions. Goal of the work: determination of absolute values and energy dependence of the radiative strength functions for the 57,59Co nuclei, study of the reaction mechanism after an interaction between 12C ions and 9B nuclei at 65 MeV energy, exploring the features of the 200 MeV proton induced pion production on light nuclei, determination of the deuteron charge formfactor via electron- and proton-induced reactions, development of radiation-resistive detecting systems. Obtained absolute values of the radiation strength functions for direct gamma-ray transitions below the nucleon bound energy in 57,59 Co nuclei are shown to agree well with a statistical approach binding on the Fermi liquid theory with an account for nuclear temperature and shell structure. Coupled-channel analysis of experimental data, including elastic and inelastic scattering as well as one- and two-step transfer in the 9Ве(12С, 11В)10В reaction at 65 MeV has shown the dominance o f the one-step processes. The subsequent transfer is important in formation of all cross-sections only for a small angle interval near 90 grad. Experimental data for the 7 Li with 8B reaction at 200 MeV are adecvately described within the two-nucleon mechanism of pion production. The tests of scintillators prepared by the technology, previously estimated with computer simulation methods, have shown that their properties are on the level of best foreign samples.
