Karazin popup.description2 Object for research or development - System for acquisition and processing data of radio-bursts caused (induced) by electrons precipitating from the magnetosphere under the Solar activity influence; An additional receiving channel at frequency of 500 MHz. Objectives - To have a computer-aided system for processing the data from the ground based experimental facility and processing the primary results. Research methodology and equipment - The facility records radio-bursts by means of receiving antennas of the "double square" or parabolic radio-telescope kind that are directed to zenith. Frequencies for registration are: 38, 74, 120, 240, 362 MHz. Computer processing of the data, design of computer programs for these purposes. Results and novelty - A computer-aided system has been developed to record the data immediately to the PC by means of an analog-to-digital converter archiving the primary information serially on CD for saving and further processing it; Some programs for processing the primary inf ormation has been designed. Degree of adoption (introduction) - The results of this work are utilized in the experimental facility of Kharkiv National University which is used to study the mechanism of electron precipitation from the Earth magnetosphere. Importance of the work and conclusions - It is shown that the designed method of the facility automation improves the primary information processing and saving and will speed up obtaining the results of the simulated mechanism of electron precipitation from the Earth magnetosphere and of the Solar activity influence upon this mechanism. Forecast of progress for the object under research or development- Obtaining the long-term information about the Solar activity influence on the condition of the Earth atmosphere upper layers; Simulation of the mechanism of electron precipitation from the Earth magnetosphere.
