Development of the text and computer tests for the tier system of study of General Physical Geography and General Earth Science in the secondary school and universities is the aim of the study. Tests are presented for two levels of complicity that correspond to the program and methodological basis of the courses of "General Earth Science" for the pupils of the 9-11 specialized classes of the secondary schools and lyceums, courses "Basis of the Physical Geography" for the students of the specialities "Geography" and "Economic and Social Geography". Corresponding answers and explanations are given. Computer tests can be used for the classes with deepen level of study in the general secondary schools and for the basic training of the professionals in the Universities, as well as for independent studies. Tests and tasks are implemented into the learning process of the course "Basis of the Physical Geography" in Kharkiv National University. They are also implemented in the learning process in Kharkiv Skovoroda Pedagogical University and in some other schools and lyceums of the city, as well as in the lyceum of the village Dworichna of Kharkiv oblast for deepen training in geography.
