The aim of the work is the study of mechanisms of interaction between the laser radiation and biological objects and the development of methods for effective treatment and prophylaxis of most widely spread human diseases by means of this radiation. The investigation methods is the laboratory studying the mechanisms of laser radiation effect on biological objects (animals, plants, tissue cultures) on different levels (cell, tissue, organ, organism). According to the project of research for 1999 scientific investigations were carried out in the following directions:1. Making experimental studies of the effect on cell, tissue, organ and organism levels of low level laser radiation in different spectral ranges of continuous and pulsed modes of laser operation.2. Development of effective methods for treating most widely spread human diseases using a low power laser radiation.3. Designing new laser medical devices.4. Preparing and presenting the report. The results obtained will be used in further investigations and will be supplied for introducing them into practical medicine and agriculture of the Ukraine and Kharkiv region.
