Subject and methods of the investigation: previously the food-getting reaction (the process of the food extraction from a narrov channel of a cratch) was developed among white rats. Then the photoelectric registration of this reaction, as well as the electric impulse activity of the neurons of the above-mentioned brain structures, was registered. Results: The neurons, reactions of which outdistance the movement, have been found out in the second field of the frontal cortex. That is an indicator both the intention and the organization of the movement. The neurons involved in the movement control have found out too. Also the neurons, which are responsible for the motivation excitement, and the neurons, which are related with the movement realization as well as the assessment of the movement effectiveness, have bee n registered in the basolateral amygdala. The meaning of the received results: For the first time the neuron activity of the second field of the frontal cortex and the basolateral amygdala has been registered among free-moving white rats in the process of the motor program organization. The functional assessment of these brain structures concerning the organization and realization of the behaviour reaction has been given using the example of the food-getting automatic movement.
