Research objective: development of principally new pneumatic car suspension, design of which rules out the shock absorber application and provides static and dynamic characteristics of suspension the best of ones for very expensive prestige cars. Method of research: theoretical and experimental. Theoretical and practical results: The structural arrangement and mathematical models (linear and nonlinear) of the car pneumatic suspension with separate highfrequency and low-frequency vibrations dampening of the car sprung and unsprung masses have been developed. Design documentation has been developed, and experimental prototypes of radically new pneumatic suspensions have been created, their static and dynamic characteristics have been determined. Tests (on the "Tavria" series-produced car) have shown that the new pneumatic suspension characteristics meet requirements for the smooth motion of a high-class car and stability of its motion. Novelty and efficiency: a radicallynew automatic suspension with separate low-frequency and high-frequency vibrations dampening has been developed; the design of the suspension eliminated using a damper, and its characteristics correspond to the level of characteristics for car suspensions from the best world producers.
