The updated methodology of the marine environment hydrochemical monitoring is presented. State of the Black Sea hydrosulphide zone and both its structure and variability is estimated. On the basis of the method designed for the forecast, the conclusion about increasing of hydrogen sulphide concentration in the Black Sea to 2002 with its subsequent decreasing by 2005 down to a level of 1996 year is made.
