The review of some groups of parasitic and predaceous entomophagous insects of the Palaearctic region and some of its separate territories was completed on the basis of modern methods of research. New system of Scelionidae (Proctotrupoidea) and Formicidae (Formicoidea) were elaborated. The evaluation of biodiversity of some dominant groups of entomophagous insects of the Ukraine were undertaken.The analysis of host-parasitic relations and peculiarities of distribution of entomophagous insects on main plant associations was given. At the first time ecological and faunal characteristics of ecological complexes of entomophagous insects connected with sucking and leaf-mining pests in the Ukraine were given.
