To determine the influence of initial structure created by heat treatment onto high temperature strength the VT3-1 and VT18U alloys were investigated in three micro structural states. It is shown that strengthening heat treatment gives a positive influence at exploitation of alloys at temperatures below Tc only. Higher Tc the influence of preliminary heat treatment on strength and creep resistance does not give a significant effect and depends on concrete conditions of exploitation.
