Research objective: to release grape cultivars for the South Coast of the Crimea by means of investigation of the inheritance pattern of resistance to oidium in the hybrid progeny, by search of sources of economic traits and resistance to oidium and involving them into the breeding process, by creation of grape genofond, selection of elite forms of transgressive recombinants and by testing forms to be granted the status of cultivar. Methods: immunological evaluation of breeding material against natural and artificial infectious background, investigation of agrobiological indices of grape forms and cultivars, statistical data processing and analysis of variance. Hybridization efficiency on the South Coast of the Crimea has been evaluated, selection has been carried out, as a result of which 14 elite forms of table and wine grape revealed, 15 forms and cultivars have been assigned to the group of sources of economic traits.
