The purpose of work is determination the level of the civilization development of the Eastern Ukraine?s ancient population. Applied investigations consisted of field, search and stationary work on archeological regions of ancient settlements and mound graves. In consequence of conducted investigations have been resulted in high level of material culture and social organization of ancient collectives on the stage of prestate formations. There have been taken the attempt of reconstruction of behavior norms and traditions on the basis of studying the cult semantic compositions, the collective monograph ''Settlements of late Stone Age - early Bronze Age on the river Seversky Donets'' was made.
