The objective is to develop methodical case histories for finding plots romising for oil and gas in the limits of the Northern flangs of DDB using a system of geologic-geochemical and electric-prospecting methods. The aims are as follows: distinguishing standard oil and gas fields to arrange electric-prospecting and geochemical research; testing AMTS, transient electromagnetic, frequency sounding-induced polarization and geochemical methods of research of prospecting criteria; carrying out integrated research at four structures of the Northern flange of DDB; generation of geoelectric and geochemical models of structures being studied; distinguishing, on the basic of .prospecting criteria, plots to arrange detailed geophysical survey, exploration and drilling. Methods of research are electric prospecting and analysis of materials obtained. Field geophysical survey on promising plots w as conducted. Mathematical processing of materials obtained was made.
