Aim of an investigation: substantiation of alternative technology of water conditioning based on using weakly dissociated forms of ionites. Methods of an investigation: potentiometric titration, theoretical modelling of ionic and ion-exchage equilibrium chemical analysis of solution components, PC data processing. Basic results: the ion-exchange equilibrium theory, which permits to descride resinate solution properties deviations in gel phase of weakly dissociated ionites from ideal have been substantiated. Based on the theory potentiometric titration curves of carboxylic cationites and weak-basic anionites have been analysed. It was determined that local equilibrium constants dependence on a resinate composition in the nearest environment of an ionite exchangeable centre. A priori method of construction of "composition - solubility product" diagram was substantiated. It was set up fundamentals of alternative method of water treatment with using weak dissociated ionites, which applicable as for water conditioning due to its softening, reduction of strong acid anions and alkalinity and for deep water demineralization. It was estimated main technical and economic characteristics of the method on water demineralization example.
