The aim of study: to form genetical collections of sources and donors of resistance to major diseases and pests of the region in order to use them in immunity breeding. Investigation methods and equipment: phytopathologic, microscopic, laboratory, field and statistic methods. Theoretical and practical results: the collections of new sources and donors of resistance to diseases of winter and spring wheats, barley and maise have been formed and introduced into breeding programs. 31922 counts were made; 1112 sources of resistance were identified; some population races of the pathogenes were determined; effective genes governing resistance were established.
