It is made in the form of vertical rack with a mechanism of the angular scanning; X-ray source and detector-amplifier system are mounted at the opposite ends of the-rack. Operation of the apparatus is based on the scanning of narrow fan-shaped X-ray beam along the object under examination. The radiation dose received by patiens is by 50 times lower than that typical of conventional film fluorography metods.
