Object of investigation - thermal receiver on the basis of high effective pyroelectric and wide semiconductors as well as the thermographic images. Method of investigation - mathematical analysis of thermal and electric processes and statistic analysis of the infrared (IR) images. The research work was devoted to the investigation of the polar response in the piezoelectric semiconductors, the most interesting of which are considered to be semiinsulated wide semiconductors. It was stated that in the anisotropic border conditions all wide semiconductors have got the properties of pyroelectric crystals despite of their belonging to the piezoelectric semiconductors. Developed methods of thermal images processing can be considered as the comp onent part of iconics, which sufficiently widens and supplements it. The result abtained can be used in the practical work of the thermal control system. Prognosis suppositions concerning investigations of the object development: the possibility to design the new type of the microelectronic sensor, which must be uncooled monocrystalline sensor.
