In connection with the application of TiN coatings on steel dentures,the comparative study of corrosion resistance of both TiN and stainless steel was carried out using polarization curves method together with XRD and Auger electron spectroscopy analyses of samples surface. It was shown that at the contact with saliva (distilled water),weak-salt solution (3% NaCl) and gastric juice (HCl) the TiN materials proved to be more stable that stainless steel.
