As a result of the project implementation the tailings storages "Dnieprovskoye", "Yugo-Vostochnoye", "Zapadnoye", "Central Yar", I & II Sections "Sukhachevskoye", "Base "C", "DP-6" have been researched in term of their radiation and ecological capabilities, environmental and public impact by the uranium facilities has been assessed and the waste disposal technology has been developed for each tailings site. Taking the research results into consideration the production purposes and operation program and structural arrangement were developed for the state enterprise "Barrier"designed for uranium tailings management, as well as costs of work was estimated. Thereby, the resulted research allows to begin foundation of the uranium tailings management dedicated plant at industrial site in Dnieprodzerzhynsk and to fulfil required activity at the uranium facilities to implement national policy in the field of uranium waste management.
