The purpose was to receive calculation methods to be used for estimation of dust and gaseous release quantity, contents and concentration and to develop effective technology of the release suppression. The presented calculations allow to determine mass of substance being released into atmosphere per time unit depending from air rate at various dust and gas concentrations, as at a normal mode of the mine operation (depth up to 400 m) as when the rock blasting. The prediction assessment technique has been developed to estimate dust and gas releases quantity while working out existing ore deposits and when projecting new mines. The factors essentially contributing into decrease of dust and gases concentrations (carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides, poisonous gases) were determined. The dust and gas suppression technology when blastin g mine rock includes development of hydrogel contents on the basis of water glass, ferrous metal etching waste, saltpeter ammonia , synthetic fatty acids, sodium salt and other components to be used for tamping of blast-hole, deep-hole and external extrinsic explosive charges, as well as means of shock air waves weakening. The dust and gas suppression technology with use of hydrogel for the tamping will allow to reach the 20-60% reduction for carbon oxides concentrations, 30-90 % for nitrogen oxides , 40-60 % for air dusting, 20-25 % for ventilation time, 10-15 % for costs of explosive matters, as well as to reduce the zone impacted by shock air waves.
