The work aim is to define scientific-theoretical approaches to normative teaching contents selection and to knowledge diagnostics when working out ecological education and training standard for HEE of different educational - qualifying levels. The research method is analysing of methodical recommendations as for ecological education and training standard composition, analysis of various educational author programs on ecological education, teaching elements, tests tasks, economic activity classifier, primary posts nomenclature, literary sources of ecological education. Scientific-theoretical foundation of ecological education and training contents selection for educational - qualifying levels while creating ecological education standard in accordance with the contemporary requirements of the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science were worked out The main directions of structure change in crea ting educational - qualifying characteristics for different educational - qualifying levels, educational - professional programs, list of normative disciplines and diagnostic control of future ecology specialists knowledge and abilities were worked out. Different branches of the country national economy where ecologist labour mast be used were chosen. The definition of the teaching subjects cycles according to every educational - qualifying levels was founded scientifically. A system of the test diagnostic tasks for ability and knowledge control was made up. A structure of educational - methodical ensuring of ecological education standard as a new technology in higher school teaching was offered. The SRW results were introduced in teaching technologies for ecology specialists preparing in KNU in Kharkov and in majority leading HEE of Ukraine.
