Formation of valuable products, in particular alcohols, over oxide, zeolite catalysts and zirconium dioxide, modified with heteropolyacids, has been shown. The performed studies have revealed: the most active and selective catalysts towards aforementioned process as well as kind of the dependence of reaction's rate and selectivity on experimental conditions.
