The research's objective is to achieve qualitatively new level of fullness and operativeness of meeting of the society's information requirements. There has been developed a Ukrainian pattern of an electronic (digital) library's creation, as a basis of which has been assumed the principle of individual and collective author's interest in including their works into the World information spase. There has been suggested a conveyor technology of forming of this library's information resources, the point of which is to supplement the electronic catalogue's bibliographic records with abstracts of scientific publications to be followed by full-textual expansion of abstract data base.
