It is shown, that the development of mecanims for plant adaptive response to drought is due to determining changes in adenosine phosphate and phytohormonal systems, liquid crystal structure of polar lipids in chloroplast membranes and water compartments. The conception of applying polymeric growth regulators for inducing plant adaptive reactions under drought conditions has been grounded for the first time.
