In patients with normal body weight the number of CD3+cells (T-lymphocytes) and their main subpopulation (CD4+ and CD8+cells) was decreased. In the blood of patients with excessive body weight the number of LGL which do not express CD56 antigen, was significantly increased. Electron microscopy revealed a special subpopulation of LGL in blood of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with obesity.
