It was worked out surgical tactics and technics of the operations. In patients with splenic cystes we prefer cyst fenestration. Purulent cystes or hematomas are not contraindications for the surgery. Cholecystotomia with lithoextraction is preferable operation to cholecystectomy in patients with hereditary spherocytosis complicated by holelithiasis. Immunophenotypic studies showed peculiarities of structure of the splenic lymphoid cell subsets in hereditary spherocytosis, indicating on their participation in reactive hyperplasia of the spleen. We analysed the influence of corticosteroids on immunophenotypic profile of splenic lymphoid cells and long-term disorders of blood lymphocytes after splenectomy in patients with immune thrombocytopenic purpura.
