The aim of the work is elaboration of methodological approaches to market infrastructure construction in Ukraine and its regions and formation of the organizational-and-economic mechanisms of its effective development under conditions of competitive environment. The methods of systematic approach, economic-mathematical modelling, forecasting, statistical and technical-and-economic comparing analysis were applied. On the base of the research results the scientific-methodical recommendations "Formation of the organizational-and-economic mechanisms of the market infrastructure (MIS) development" are worked out and the monography "Infrastructural maintenance of the competitive economy (regional aspects)" is prepared. Results of the researches as the scientific paper, notes and recommendations have been sent to the Ministry of Economy and on the European Integration of Ukraine, Administration of the President of Ukraine, Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine, Lviv Regional State Administration, Lviv City Chairman and have been applied at Lviv industrial complex enterprises ("Lvivprylad", "Sirka", "Svitoch"). The complex approach, which considers MIS in two aspects: as a complex of conditions, that are necessary for appearance, existence and reproduction of the markets, and as a mechanism-regulator of the economic relations of producers and consumers of the commodities and services at this market, is proposed.
