Purpose and research task - elaboration of a theory of lexicographical systems and substantiation of methods, means and technologies of their integration, making of integrated information-lexicographical systems on the basis of the Ukrainian language. Principal results. The purpose set is achieved in process of the research work. As a result of performance of the research engineering the information theory of lexicographical systems as well as the method of information-lexicographical parameterization in the text processing systems and the method of natural language indexation of the Ukrainian texts have been worked out. The information-statistical properties of the Ukrainian literary texts have been researched. The concept of generalized linguistic variable as a construct to be used for the lexicographical modeling of the semantics is also elaborated. The technology of the digital library to function in the local network environment using the client/server technique is worked out and brought about. The integrated lexicographical system "Dictionaries of Ukraine" having united a number of lexicographical functions to correspond five of the fundamental dictionaries of the Ukrainian language has been created in the form of a CD. The integrated lexicographical systems, namely, a digital library of the Ukrainian literature and a digital lexical card index have been constructed.
