The method deals with the issues of statistical data processing in the sphere of foreign economic activities of Ukraine. Methodical aspects of the calculation of volume indices of export and import of goods and their practical application have been developed. In international practice results of foreign trade statistics are estimated by studying the level and dynamics of prices, physical volume of goods and services, and reliable and authentic information is widely used in everyday activity of foreign trade organizations, commodity producers, exporters and importers of goods and services, public authorities which co-ordinate foreign economic activity.
