The organizational and economic basis of the mechanism of reduction of the use of power resources in ports and ship-repair yards was developed; the systematization and analysis of materials of exhibitions, conferences, meetings on issues of power saving was carried out, proposals on introduction at the enterprises of the newest power saving technologies and equipment were developed, including on the basis of use of nonconventional energy sources. Ecological aspects of energy usage at the branch enterprises were investigated and analysed, proposals on the prevention of pollution of atmospheric air by harmful emissions were developed.
