The deformation criterion of fracture for bodies with W-notches under both plane stress and plane strain conditions under simmetrical loading is proposed. The influences of physical nonlinearity of a material, roundness of apex of the notch and its orientation on process of pure split or mixed mechanism of fracture are investigated. Improved partly nonsymmetrical theory of compliant on shear thick plates is constructed within the framework of coupleless nonsymmetrical elasticity theory of transversally isotropic plates.
