Principally new approach to the study of the constitutional law sources has been developed. New approach to their classification is suggested. Such classification is conducted according to such criteria: essence (as expressing of will of the people or state), contents (legal power) and form. Depending on the essence the constitutional law sources are divided into the types: 1) acts of expressing of will of the people (e.g. acts of referendums); 2) acts of expressing of will of the state (law of Ukraine, acts of the President of Ukraine, ets); 3) acts of territorial communities and local self government bodies. According to the content the constitutional law sources are divided into: 1) the Constitution of Ukraine and other constitutional acts as acts of the most supreme legal power; 2) laws as acts of the supreme legal power; 3) by-lawsof the bodies of state power; 4) local normative-legal acts of the bodies of local self government and legal acts of the other non-state bodies, organizations and communities. According to the form there are such sources of the constitutional law: 1) normative-legal acts; 2) internal and international agreements; 3) judical precedents; 4) customs and acts of the other social norms.
