Aim: to improve available results of treatment in patients with malignant cerebral tumors. Methods: cerebral angiography, CT, SPECT, test for individual tumor sensitivity for antitumoral agents. Results: determined that it is necessary to perform detailed investigation of patient to assess tumor circulation for choice of drugs type and ways of their injection. Features of intraarterial chemotherapy in primary and metastatic cerebral lesions are determined. Usage of artificial hyperglycaemia is substantiated aimed for antitumoral effect of chemotherapy. Prognostic significance of biochemical findings is demonstrated. Usage of acquired findings permitted to improve treatment results and quality of life.
