Methods of research: theoretical and experimental. The mathematical model of processes, characteristic for a viscous incompressible liquid flow in small gaps of the different geometrical form is specified under different boundary conditions, typical for throttling channels of rotor seals of centrifugal machines. Results of researches enable development new and improvement of existing methods of vibration reliability, hermitic sealing and ecological safety of centrifugal machines and creation on their basis new energy-and resources-economy designs of condensation of their rotors.
