The kinetics of their hydrolysis by thrombin and by other twenty enzymes of blood clotting, fibrinolysis, complement and snake venoms were investigated. The results of the work create scientific basis for understanding the molecular mechanisms of the action of enzymes with narrow specificity and for methods of regulation of their activities.
