To drive the sensor-distributor of ignition current and centrifugal-pneumatic limiter of maximum engine speed the special gearing drive has been worked out. The design of the fuel system for internal combustion engines in which two fuels-petrol and etil spirit are used has been worked out. The special carburetor-mixer has been designed for this system. The results of tests of 8-cylinders ZMZ-53-12 automobile engine equipped with this system have shown that when engine runs on the mixture of petrol and spirit its exhaust gases are 10…15 % less toxic then at running on petrol only. The r esults of these investigations are used in designing of fuel systems for new gas engines and engines in which spirit fuels are used.
