The crystal structure of 21 ternary and quater nary phases were determined. The single crystals of 8 compounds were grown. The physical properties of Cu2CdGeS4, CdI2 single crystals and of solid solutions in ZnSe-Ga2Se3, CuInS2-Zn/Cd/S and CuGaS2-CdS were investigated.
