Calculations and subsequent improvements of the mass spectrometer ion optics were performed with a matrizant method taking into account manufacturing, inaccuracies of the ion optics system detailes. MPSD circuits, topology and control programs were developed and experimental MPSD models were manufacted. The mass spectrometer performance data were tested and posibilities were considered for further increase in the sensitiviti and accuracy of the element analysis of solid samples.
