The aim of research: to contribute the increase the volume of production and realization of passenger cars, freight and special cars, city and trunk buses, truck loaders and motor- and bicycles, list of parts, spare (repair) parts. The objects of research: Motorcar industry - production and realization of passenger cars, freight and special cars, city and trunk buses, truck loaders, and motor- and bicycles, list of parts, spare (repair) parts. At the result: the car park at the beginning of 2002 amounted more than 6.7 mln.units of output. More than 90 % of park belongs to the import models, 80 % of them have the exploitation age more than 10 years. The general tax level of domestic producer is 26 %, and legislative taxation of imported cars is 21 % from the price of their realization. If we consider different benefits, exceptions and contraband, then the domestic producer in Ukraine has the strict conditions. Also the rapid development of brunch is restrained by: moral and physical depreciation of funds, high cost of funds and insufficient quality goods, lack of long-term crediting and high interest, insufficient qualification of managers and marketing specialists. There is necessary to the system of follow-up measures: the state - the brunch - the enterprise. The state must take care of creation of standard-and-legislative base, which is oriented not on discreditation, but on protection of home producer. At the level of brunch - introduction of new organizational form of activity (holding and leasing companies, service centers, dealers, distributors), modern technologies, management and marketing. Monitoring enterprises' work in motorcar industry on market conditions in 2002. At the level of enterprise - the output of competitive goods, marketing strategy, organization of joint ventures and joint manufactures, protection and using of intellectual property, logistics, budgeting.
