The chemical composition, gas and dust dynamics, and photochemistry in the atmospheres of these comets were investigated. Several C2 emissions which occurs by the transitions from high rotational levels(J">100) were identified for the first time . It is shown that the tail of Comet С/1999 J2 (Skiff) at the heliocentric distance > 7 AU consisited of large (>15 mkm) icy grains and its formation began at 8.6 AU from the Sun. For the first time from the dynamical spectroscopy of Comet Halley an evidence was obtained that its nucleus was macroscopically chemically homogeneous. Surface photometry of several comets was fulfilled. The results of the photometry were interpreted using the developed in MAO theoretical models. The polarization was measured for several comets. For the first time the left circular polarization has been registered. The optical thickness of the atmosphere of this comet was obtained from the photometry and polarimetry of an occultation of this comet by a bright star. A theory of unscattered radiation transfer in a gas and dust atmosphere was developed. A lack of electrons is found to ensure a direct enpopulation of the excited states that could give the observable fluorescence of the triplet system of CO molecule . The period of spinning as well as the other parameters of rotation were determined for Comet Hale-Bopp. The first version of a model of an active region on a cometary nucleus has been developed. It was found that the crater structure accelerates sublimation by the factor about three. An experimental example of a digital television camera with a phodiod CMOS-matrix was created and tested. Two space experiments were proposed: an on-board infrared telescope and an experiment for the solar wind investigation by artificial comets.
