The results as for the grooving of PbJ2 by the Bridgman method show, that the solubility limit of ZrJ4 in PbJ2 is 0,1at% A diagnostics of the structure defects in PbJ2 (connecting with doping) has been determined by the low-temperature exciton spectroscopy method. The determination of the partial constituents of conductivity of the PbJ2 crystals was conducted with the help of the Wagner polarization cell (-) Pb|PbJ2|C(+). It is found, that at the polarization potentials <0,9 V the current-potential dependences are exponential.in the temperature region of 293-623 K the total and hole conductivity of PbJ2 single crystals were determined.
