Considered the scientific principles of development of the source of mineral-raw materials of rare metals. Specification of their rare metals and their deposits was accounted also. Shows that the most of the rare metals deposits in Ukraine did not related to the known genetic types. The perspective of the extraction and treatment of the Li, Rb, Cs,Be, Sc, Y, TR, Zr, Hf, Nb and Ta ores are considered.
