The mathematical model of setting and computation of sets of saws with usage of exhaustive method is designed. The selection of criterion of an optimality (minimum costs of raw material) is justified and the optimisation model of logs sawing is offered. The effective algorithm for calculation of moisture and stresses fields is developed. This algorithm enables at any moment time of drying process of timber to establish numerical values of radial, tangential and shearing stresses.
