The purpose of work - improvement of pneumatic conveying systems (PCS) and methods of their calculation. Method of research - analytic-experimental with development of mathematical models of processes and computer processing of experimental data. The mathematical model of two-phase flows of the average and high concentration, and also a design procedure of basic working parameters PCS is developed. At the experimental assembly researches of pneumatic conveying of ashes, cement and a coal dust are executed. Comparison of experimental data with design data gives satisfactory concurrence. The design procedure is used in modernization of systems of pneumatic conveying of ashes and a coal dust at the power stations.
