The object - the life expectancy of the population of three oblasts and them of five rayons, control oblast, Ukraine as a whole. The received results. Shown, that takes place steady decrease of number of the population and its aging, expecially on a radio-actively contaminated territories (RCT). Increase total mortality in 1986-2000 occured for the account mortality of the population of able-bodied age from somatical pathology and outside causes. Essentially its level has increase for 1991-1995. The groups of increased risk at mortality from neoplazms there are the person in age 15-29 years. For 1991-2000 the LE was reduced on 4,2% in investigated rayons,on 2,9-3,5% - in oblasts, on 3,2% - in the control and 2,7% - in Ukraine. On the basis of the component analysis, it has been discovered that contribution of the leading causes of death to forming the changes of LE is: of somatical pathology 45-65%, neoplazms 10-25%, outside causes 10-45% depending on sex, territory and the period of monitoring. The contribution mortality of the population at the age 15-59 years in the cutting down of LE exceeds 85%. The contribution of mortality of male in the cutting down of LE is more than 65%. Furher reduction LE is till 2010 predicted. The developed recommendation are offered to use at realization of measures, directed on increase to the LE of the population on RCT and of the Ukraine.
