Research object is the system to observe the Earth aboard spacecraft. Research objective is to develop procedures, models, algorithms and an applied software to analyze the Earth's imaging for calculating the programs of the spacecraft attitude and determining achievable values of the accuracy indexes of the observation system. Methods used: mathematical modeling, methods of theoretical mechanics, photogrammetry and the probability theory. Mathematical models, procedures, algorithms and programs to calculate the kinematic parameters of a programmed motion of the spacecraft around the centre of mass under the route photography and stereoscopic frame photography are provided. Requirements for programmed changes in orientation angles are determined. A general model is realized to calculate and analyze the velocity of displacement of an optical image in Earth's photography. Relationships for determining effects of various kinematic factors on the value of displacement of the image are derived. Original data are analyzed and problems of procedures to calculate accuracy indexes of the Sich-2 space Earth's observation system are formulated. A generalized model to determine the object attitude according to digital space images is created. Procedures for determining geographic coordinates and geometric characteristics of objects due to scanned images and errors under determination of coordinates are developed. Applications - scientific-and-engineering support, examination of challenges and choice of system parameters in the design of satellites for Earth's remote observation.
