The objective of the work is the development of an inexpensive technology of converting diesels into gas engines. The investigation methods are theoretical and experimental ones with measurement of the parameters of engines with the help of standard instrumentation. The load and speed characteristics of the converted engine have been obtained. The usage of a gas engine allows to save resources because of the lower cost of gas fuel as compared to diesel fuel.
