Scientific investigations in the field of the main problems of monometallic offset plates' space elements' damping has been carried out. In accordance with the investigation results the experimental coustructive elaboration activities concerning the constructing of damping apparates for various types of rotagravure printing machines had been carried out. The sheetfed rotogravure printing machine "Rotadonor-201" (Czech-produced) had been modernized for experimental purposes. The possibility of obtaining of quality printing production at the modernized rotogravure, printing machines had been affirmed.
